Information: Henrik Witte [b1825 – d1914] was a Dutch gardener and was the assistant curator becoming the head-curator of the Leiden Botanical Gardens from 1855 – 1898. He sponsored this book of the trees and beautiful floral from his beloved Leiden gardens.
