China Peking Shop Signs 12 Hand Colored Illustrations Book
This very rare set of pictures is hand painted and hand bound with cloth and string. Inside are 12 hand painted illustrations of common shop signs in Peking, China at the time the book was made, from my research ca. late 1800's. All twelve hand painted scenes are in excellent condition and the book overall is in excellent condition. Still even has the wax paper cover in the front of the book.
The book is 6 5/8" across by 6 1/4" tall. Very colorful and extremely difficult to find in this condition.
